With the development of nursing disciplines and the continuous transformation of the healthcare industry, the models of nursing education are also evolving. The blended teaching model, as an emerging educational concept, combines the advantages of traditional face-to-face teaching and online learning, effectively enhancing the professional competence of nursing students. This paper explores the role of the blended teaching model in improving the professional qualities of nursing students, analyzes the challenges encountered during its implementation, and proposes corresponding optimization strategies. Through an in-depth study of the blended teaching model, this paper aims to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the reform and innovation of nursing education.
