In the context of population aging, the well-being of the elderly has attracted much attention from the academic community. The Internet has reshaped the life and social model of the elderly. Based on CFPS data in 2022, it is found that Internet use can significantly improve the subjective well-being of the elderly, and the user's well-being is about 0.2 points higher; Cultural capital has a negative moderating effect. The lower the cultural capital, the more obvious the improvement of happiness brought by the Internet. Research proposes intervention strategies from the perspectives of family, society, and government to enhance the happiness of the elderly population.
