ABSTRACT

With the development of Internet technology and people's higher pursuit of spiritual and cultural content, long- and short-form video platforms have become an important force in online audiovisual communication. However, there are frequent copyright conflicts between the two. Through typical cases, the article discusses the symbiosis strategy of long and short video platforms, and proposes strategies such as perfecting the principle of safe harbour, and promoting reforms with the help of AIGC, with a view to achieving a win-win situation for long and short video platforms, users and producers, and promoting the prosperity and progress of the video industry.
