ABSTRACT

The rise of social media has provided individuals with expansive platforms for expression. Gender issues have gradually shifted from private discussions to public debates, becoming more visible in online spaces. This study takes the "Anatomy of a Fall" incident as a case study and applies grounded theory and the CAPS framework to code and analyze relevant Microblog text data, while also using social network analysis and sentiment analysis to examine the characteristics of gender discourse actions and emotional communication on social media. The findings show that in the new media context, emotional dissonance often serves as the initial trigger for expression. These discussions engage with feminist communication practices and eventually build a sense of community through mediated solidarity.
