Stroke is a leading cause of disability, and post-stroke rehabilitation is critical for restoring physical function. Elderly patients, due to age-related decline, impaired immune function, chronic comorbidities, and polypharmacy, often require additional support through specialized rehabilitation techniques. This review outlines commonly used limb rehabilitation techniques for stroke patients, evaluating their advantages and limitations. Recommendations are provided to enhance rehabilitation training for stroke patients and to offer evidence-based guidance for clinical practice.
