ABSTRACT

With the change of times and the development of education, more and more students are learning vocal music major. However, in our country, vocal music graduates employment problem has gradually become the focus of the society. In the past, the college vocal music major was a rare education in the society. Nowadays, colleges and universities have expanded the enrollment of vocal music majors, and the entrance threshold is low, forming a popular education, which leads to the shortage of vocal music students in the job market. In the present vocal music job market, comprehensive teaching ability should be required, which brings certain employment pressure to the students of vocal music major in colleges and universities. This article comes from the discussion of the challenges, roots, and solutions of the employment dilemma of college vocal music majors, and also provides opinions and suggestions for most vocal music graduates.
