ABSTRACT

There are many problems in the application of existing laws on monopolistic behaviour in the field of Internet platforms. It is necessary to analyse the defects of the antitrust law in regulating the monopolistic behaviour of Internet platforms in combination with the characteristics of Internet platforms that are different from traditional industries, such as bilaterality, innovation, and dynamism. The identification of Internet platform monopolistic behaviour can be optimised by introducing special factors such as data and improving the calculation method of market share. The existing legal regulations can be further enhanced by establishing a pre-emptive supervision mechanism and establishing diversified governance.
