ABSTRACT

To observe the clinical effect of Huang's Yao Medicine Oil Acupuncture in treating postherpetic sequelae. This study selected 56 patients with postherpetic sequelae from the rehabilitation department of our hospital between May 2020 and October 2023. They were randomly divided into two groups using computer randomization, with 28 patients in each group. The control group was primarily treated with Western medicine, while the observation group was treated with Huang's Yao Medicine Oil Acupuncture. Parameters before and after treatment were compared between the two groups to evaluate their efficacy. The treatment effect in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Huang's Yao Medicine Oil Acupuncture shows significant efficacy in treating postherpetic sequelae. It can not only reduce patient pain but also decrease side effects, demonstrating certain clinical value.
