This paper discusses the development needs of the field of educational technology in the era of artificial intelligence, and explores how to cultivate innovative talents that meet the needs of the times. Firstly, the paper reviews the current application status of artificial intelligence in the field of education, as well as the current situation and challenges of educational technology. Secondly, it proposes a theoretical framework for innovative talent cultivation mode under the perspective of artificial intelligence, and explores the application and development trends of artificial intelligence in the field of educational technology. Furthermore, the paper designs an innovative talent cultivation model for educational technology based on artificial intelligence, and verifies it through case studies. Finally, the research results of this paper are summarized, and the future development trends and challenges of artificial intelligence and educational technology are discussed.
